Right here, in Whatcom County, there are more good golfing days than nearly every other golf district in the country. You may not believe this but in the current issue of Golf Digest magazine (November 2002), Bellingham/Whatcom County rated 7th top golf district in the US, based on mild year-round climate, number of courses per capita, quality of courses, and moderate prices. The ranking is the highest of any other community on the west coast!!!
